Interior Design Graduate Ranks 6th as University Achieves 100% Passing Rate

Sintang Paaralan continues to uphold its tradition of excellence with another outstanding licensure examination performance as Aldrin Sesnorio Balugo, a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design graduate, secured 6th Place in the July 2026 Licensure Examination for Interior Designers with a rating of 87.05%, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Complementing this individual achievement, the University achieved a 100% overall passing rate, with all eight (8) examinees successfully passing the licensure examination. The exceptional performance highlights the quality of the University's Interior Design program and its commitment to producing competent and industry-ready professionals.

For Aldrin, the achievement is the result of perseverance, continuous learning, and unwavering faith. Although he initially knew little about the profession, his passion for creativity grew into a deeper appreciation of the discipline as he discovered that interior design extends beyond aesthetics and requires technical expertise, critical thinking, and dedication.

"Aiming for something bigger wasn't about seeking recognition, but rather about proving to myself that I could overcome my doubts and give the board exam my absolute best," he shared.

Preparing for the licensure examination was not without challenges. Aldrin admitted that self-doubt and the pressure of graduating with Latin honors often fueled his anxiety. However, he overcame these struggles by trusting his preparation, embracing the review process, and relying on prayer.

Beyond academic knowledge, he credits the University for equipping him with the resilience, resourcefulness, creativity, and time management skills that became invaluable throughout his review and continue to guide him as he begins his professional career.

The news of his national ranking came as an unexpected yet deeply rewarding moment.

"Topping the exam has always been a quiet dream of mine, and seeing it come true is immensely fulfilling. It is a deeply humbling reminder that all the sleepless nights, sacrifices, and hard work truly paid off," he recalled.

Reflecting on his journey, Aldrin encouraged fellow Iskolar ng Bayan and aspiring Interior Designers to remain steadfast in pursuing their goals.

"Believe in your capabilities, trust your journey, and never underestimate the power of prayer. Carry our trademark resilience and heart wherever you go. Design with purpose, stay humble, and always hold onto your faith," he said.
