True to its vision of producing outstanding legal practitioners, College of Law (COL) ranked third among top law schools with 51-100 candidates. 64 out of 72 successfully hurdled the bar examinations, with an impressive 88 percent passing rate.
PUP College of Law continues to make a name as a reputable law school. Last year, the College had its first graduate to enter the top 10 since it was established in 2001. This year, ten (10) graduates were lauded for their exemplary performance in the exams. They are as follows (in alphabetical order):
The University’s pride also extends to its undergraduate alumni who have also passed the recent bar exams. Lea Nitoya, graduate of the Bachelor of Political Science program in 2014, was commended for her exemplary performance in the recently concluded examinations. 33 other alums from the College of Political Science and Public Administration (CPSPA) alone passed the bar.
According to the Supreme Court, a total of 8,241 of the 11,402 aspirants who took and completed the 2020-21 Bar examinations passed, which is equivalent to 72.28 percent. This is the first digital bar examinations held in Philippine law history, making this batch a unique set of successful bar passers.
