To promote and provide holistic and inclusive opportunities for all, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), through the College of Human Kinetics (CHK), conducted an extension program for Parents Advocate for Visually Impaired Children (PAVIC) in September 2021.

Lubis, a specialist in fitness and dance; Dr. Geraldine Cachola-Miñas, a national book writer, validator, and facilitator in the Department of Education, tournament manager, and trainer of various gymnastics competitions; Mr. Reymar S. In the discussion, Dr. Lubis, Dr. Cachola-Miñas, and Mr. Royo shared the health benefits of dancing, phases of exercise, and choreographed dance fitness workouts. Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Rilles, Ms. Delfinado, Ms. Celestial, and Mr. Enteria talked about the essentials and benefits of Yoga, the proper way of breathing, and exercises in Yogilates and Vinyasa. They also emphasized that all movements must start with preparing the muscles, joints, and blood circulation before the main workout.
After the talk sessions, a culminating activity was conducted where beneficiaries performed the movements in dance fitness and yoga.
The extension project was under the Salin-Kaalaman Tungo sa Kaunlaran Program.
