To encourage scientific and cultural knowledge exchange, the University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Alicante (UA), Spain on March 11, 2022, via Zoom meeting.
The MOU covers the general context of teaching, research, and cultural activities. There will also be exchange of researchers, teaching staff, and students within the framework and binding regulations of both universities.
In addition, each University will elaborate an annual activity program that will be sent to each University which will be integrated into a single joint program of activities for the academic year.
Dr. Muhi, in the MOU signing, stated that “this collaboration will further harness the different programs in faculty development and research program and engagement of both universities for the benefit of the academic community as well as the society in general.”
PUP President Dr. Manuel M. Muhi and UA President Mr. Amparo Navarro Faure of UA represented their respective institutions in the MOU signing.
UA is located in San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante Spain, a state institution of higher education established in 1979.
