The ASEAN AI Hackathon brings together student innovators from across Southeast Asia to develop artificial intelligence solutions that address pressing social and development challenges.
The achievement highlights the innovative capabilities and technical expertise of PUP students as they showcase their AI-driven projects on an international platform.
The teams' projects also contribute to the UN SDGs. PUPQ-HACKBIGANS' participation in the Public Health category supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), while PUP ATLAN's Smart City initiative aligns with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). Both projects further promote SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through the application of emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
As the competition moves forward, both teams look to further refine and present their solutions, representing PUP and the Philippines on the regional stage.
