To further educate the youth on the effects of sexual harassment and how love can affect people, the Center for Human Resources and Gender Studies (CHRGS), PUP for Jesus Movement, PUP Kristiyanong Kabataan para sa Bayan (KKB) and WISDOM PUP, conducted a seminar titled “Women’s Rights and Empowerment in the Modern Days” held on February 12, 2019 at Bulwagang Bonifacio, Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resources Center.

Atty. Maria Cristina Jimenez, Chief of the CHRGS, discussed about sexual harassment on campus and the importance of knowing one’s rights. She said that as long as a person is aware of his/her rights, it is his/her responsibility to also spread awareness.

Atty. Jimenez also gave emphasis on the roles of student organizations, specifically WISDOM PUP, to attend to the students’ needs, most especially in serious harassment cases.
