The LGBTQ+ Community in Polytechnic University of the Philippines organized a Pride March, the third in the history of University, in the PUP Main Campus on March 10, 2017.
With the help of Kasarinlan, Amnesty International and the participation of Sentral na Konseho ng Mag-aaral, SAMASA, PUP SPEAK and local council of different colleges, PUP and the LGBTQ+ Community waved their rainbow-colored flags during the march to support the passage of Anti-Discrimination Bill .
The Anti-Discrimination Bill is a bill proposed to protect the rights, and prohibit certain discriminatory acts against the LGBTQ+ community.
