Selected teachers and students of the National Service Training Program attended a disaster risk reduction management training on February 14, 2016.
Rescue 177, an agency accredited by the Office of Civil Defense, supervised the said training.
The participants went through five phases: Bandaging/Splinting, Emergency Response Team Procedure, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Rappelling Practice, and a simulation of a disaster situation.
