To become a prominent University in Oriental Mindoro and other nearby provinces in the region that promotes academic excellence that will empower students' achievements and employability for economic sustenance.

Mandate

Thru Republic Act No. 11281 known as the PUP Bansud Campus Act, an act establishing a campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in the municipality of Bansud, Province of Oriental Mindoro, to be known as the PUP Bansud Campus.

Mission

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Bansud Campus is a learning community right at the doorstep of every Mindoreño, providing quality and affordable education; continuous academic excellence and competitiveness; and, God-fearing, values-oriented, socially and environmentally aware graduates.

Objectives

1. To meet local and international standards of quality and excellence for the promotion of graduates and undergraduates education.
2. To give opportunities for all qualified and deserving students a higher education at affordable tuition fee.
3. To provide faculty and staff with avenues for growth and development like trainings, seminars, workshops and graduate studies.
4. To encourage faculty, staff and students to undertake research activities concerning social issues and concerns that will lead to programs and projects that will help meet the needs.
