The Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEED) is a four-year degree program that focuses on preparing students to become exceptional elementary educators in the areas of literacy, mathematics, social studies, and science and to create classroom environments that stimulate young learners’ curiosity and engage their intellects in ways that directly foster high achievement. The principles of diversity, democracy, authenticity, academic rigor, and accountability are integrated into the professional foundation and elementary education pedagogy courses.
