The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) is a four-year degree course, which focuses on the study of concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, implementation and application of information and computing solutions.
The program prepares students to be IT professionals and Researchers, and to be proficient in designing and developing computing solutions.
Thesis is a requirement for the BSCS program. Contents must be focused on the theories and concepts of computing and it should be in the form of scientific work that may be presented in a public/academic forum.
Admission requirements for the BSCS programs are as follows:
CCIS shall implement the policies and guidelines on “SCHOLASTIC DELINQUENCY” found in Section 12 of the PUP Student Handbook.
Job targets per year level with appropriate Certificate/Diploma of Proficiency/Degree Title. After satisfactorily completing all the requirements leading to a BSCS degree, students may qualify for but not limited to the following entry level positions:
