The College of Tourism, Hospitality and Transportation Management (CTHTM) was established in 2001 when the Hospitality Management (former Hotel and Restaurant Management) program and Tourism program were separated from the College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Food Technology and the College of Business.
The College of Tourism, Hospitality and Transportation Management is a vital arm of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Its vision and mission are anchored on the University’s thrust to turn itself into an Epistemic Community.
Aware of the role it plays in the attainment of the University’s noble intent, the College supports President Emanuel C. De Guzman’s efforts at introducing systematic reforms that are meant to enhance its capability to respond to national demands by providing quality education and producing excellent graduates in this era of regional economic integration in Southeast Asia.
The College is certain that its roster of top caliber and highly qualified full-time and part-time faculty members are dedicated enough to introduce students to a culture of discovery and success in the tourism, hospitality and transportation industry.
