Description: Effectively use of Test Automation to reduce the cycle turn-around time Create Effort Estimation Model to estimate effort for release test execution Create macros for pulling data from Defect Management Tools – help in collating weekly and daily status for all teams Create Data comparison tools for faster and accurate test execution Extensive use of macros for test execution Design a test plan process which includes test environments, test case design techniques and the method of testing measures Coordinate with technical team with regard to the major tasks and challenges of the test project; understand the business requirement and customer process, and conducts analysis of testing scope, hardware and software resources Prepare testing plans that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability Conduct software compatibility tests with applications, programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments using the appropriate testing phases from integration to system and then acceptance testing Document test procedures to ensure replication and compliance with standards Prepare test result/s on software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to Application Developers Summarize the results of the designated testing activities and to provide evaluations and recommendations based on these results Create or maintain databases of known test defects Monitor bug resolution efforts Identify and create performance test scenarios that encompass the selected application performance requirements Execute iteratively to ensure the performance testing reflects an accurate snapshot of how the systems are to be utilized in a live environment Produce artifacts that can be re-utilized and revised with the client to support performance test activities to support future infrastructure or application changes Evaluation and selection of automated test tool suited to the software product Develop automation test plan with automated testing strategies and methodologies Develop automation framework Develop and run automated scripts as per the automation framework
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor's/College degree holder, preferably in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology At least 2 years working experience in testing systems, websites, mobile, data visualization, and web applications - Exceptional fresh graduates may be considered Good grasp of software quality assurance concepts, web usability standards (i.e. OWASP), & software development life cycle (SDLC) standards & methodologies Proficient in testing approaches Functional Testing, Regression Testing, White-box/Black-box Testing, Performance/Stress Testing, Horizontal Testing Experience in setting-up test automation frameworks Proficient in using one automated testing and one performance monitoring tools (i.e. preferably Selenium, HPE/QTP, TestNG, JMeter, etc.)
