Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Curriculum Design and Development Prepares a syllabus per subject based on the approved curriculum 2.Instructional Delivery Delivers the syllabus effectively and as planned Develops tests against the subject’s objective Innovates instructional delivery Checks tests papers and other assessment forms and returns them to students immediately Submits exams and grades on time. Makes self available for consultation with students and parents Performs academic counseling or coaching to students Makes self available for class substitution 3.Student Formation Accepts class advising and club moderatorship when requested. Assists in maintaining student discipline outside the classroom and after class hours. Refers students to the Guidance Counselor when needed 4.Professional Development Updates self on the content of his/her subject area Engages in graduate or post-graduate studies Attends seminars, trainings, conferences, assemblies, conventions, etc. relative to education in his/her subject area as well as on trends and developments in basic education/preschool education. Observes the professional code of conduct for teachers all the time. Updates the school office of the additional credentials gained for faculty ranking purposes (PPST – Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers) 5.Organizational Alignment Understands and appreciates the school’s vision, mission, and philosophy of education Behaves in consonance with the school’s vision, mission, and philosophy of education. Attends official school functions, faculty meetings, meetings with school administrator/s whenever required, and other activities. Assists in the enrollment process and other enrollment-related functions. Speaks well of the school at all times whether inside or outside the school or in social media Observes proper decorum inside and outside the school and in social media as spelled out in the Code of Ethics for Charis School Faculty.

Qualifications: With Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (preferably with experience) Godly and Bible-believing has good oral & written communication skills has good interpersonal skills LET passer or planning to take the LET as soon as possible (for new graduates) Tech-savvy (Google Meet, GSuite, etc.)
