Description: Cadet Architects play a crucial role in supporting the design and execution of architectural projects. As they gain experience and confidence, their responsibilities may expand, eventually leading to more independent design and project management roles.
Duties and Responsibilities: -Design Support -Assist in creating architectural plans, sketches, and drawings under the guidance of senior/ -Junior architects. -Contribute ideas to design discussions and help develop design concepts. -Prepare presentation materials, including renderings and diagrams. -Drafting and Documentation -Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections. -Help in producing construction documents, including drawings and specifications. -Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards and codes. -Research and Analysis -Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations relevant to the project. -Assist in analyzing site conditions and constraints that might impact the design. -Research sustainable and innovative design solutions. -Collaboration -Collaborate with the project team, including senior architects, engineers, and other consultants. -Participate in meetings and contribute ideas to design discussions. -Modeling and Visualization -Create 3D models of design concepts using software like SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools. -Generate renderings or visualizations to communicate design ideas to clients and team members. -Construction Oversight -Assist in reviewing shop drawings and submittals from contractors and suppliers. -Visit construction sites to observe progress and ensure compliance with design intent. -Project Management -Assist in organizing project files, documentation, and records. -Help in tracking project timelines and milestones. -Communicate with team members and clients to provide updates on project status.
Qualifications: -Bachelors Degree in Architecture. Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply. -Port Folio of Design work. -Open to male and female applicants. -With good communication skills in both oral and written form. -Can handle work pressure. -Must be proficient in Architectural Software and Microsoft Office.
