Description: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and the preparation of financial reports. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and the preparation of financial reports. This role will supervise a team of Accountants and Accounting Staffs, and assist in budget preparation, audits, and financial analysis
Duties and Responsibilities: Review, check and monitor the correctness of all journal entries Ensure that all business transactions are recorded Monitor and maintain the accuracy of all accounts in the system, particularly GFire Review and and analyze expense and fixed assets Update financial data in database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Check the supporting documents and collection letters for outstanding Tie-Up billings Present a monthly analysis of Financial Statements to the Board Reconciliation of Account Receivables and Payables. Preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliation Monitor and supervise all the mandatory filings of the company Monitor the updates of Book of Accounts for the current year. Prepare annual Sales Certificate for the annual renewal of Business Permit Prepare annual budget of the company Supervise the team in the entirety of accounting activities which includes, developing, interpreting, and implementing financial accounting concepts for financial control Recommend appropriate accounting methods and procedures Check and approve messengerial request for bank payments to the BIR and stamping of sales journal. Monitor and check the approved BIR returns for the company payment Responsible on all administrative reports and concerns Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time
Qualifications: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Being a CPA is an Advantage Preferably 3 years of experience in the accounting field Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable & receivable principles Proficient in oral and written English Analytical and keen to details Honest and trustworthy
