PUP Alumnus wins in CCP Film and Video Festival

Documentary program titled In The Middle of the Night (Sa Kalagitnaan ng Gabi) directed by College of Communication alumnus Bryan Kristoffer J. Brazil was awarded as 1st Prize winner in the 29th CCP Independent Film & Video Festival on August 8, 2017 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).

This festival was composed of four categories namely Short Feature, Experimental, Animation, and Documentary where Brazil’s entry is one among the 33 documentary films screened from August 5 to 7 at the CCP Tanghalang Manuel Conde.

Brazil graduated Bachelor in Broadcast Communication in 2007 and presently connected with GMA Network, Inc. where he works under the News and Public Affairs Programs. 

Among his noted accomplishments in the profession as Director includes “Brigada (The Brigade): Gintong Krudo (Black Gold),”. It is a documentary that aimed to raise awareness on child labor in the country. It won One World Award in the United States International Film and Video Festival in 2014.
