A total of 500 individuals received their first dose of COVID vaccine on July 17, 2021 at Bulwagang Balagtas, Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resource Center, PUP Main Campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila.
The recently concluded vaccination drive was the second rollout conducted in the University, through the help of the Manila City Health Department. The second jab is expected to be administered on August 24.
For a safer Sintang Paaralan, the PUP is encouraging every employee to get vaccinated as the pandemic continues to spread with different variants. The university continues to coordinate with the City of Manila for the possible rounds of vaccination drives for the PUP community until a sufficient population is inoculated.
Last month, more than 900 individuals from PUP and its adopted barangays received their second dose of vaccines during the University’s first vaccination drive following the nationwide campaign to fight COVID 19.
