PUP Bataan student recognized as Exemplary Student Leader, Sports and Arts Advocate of the Year

Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Bataan Student Leader Mr. Phillip M. Sapon has been recognized as Exemplary Student Leader, Sports and Arts Advocate of the Year in the 4th Asia Pacific Luminare Awards. 

Mr. Sapon, the President of the Central Student Council of PUP Bataan, is known for his active student citizenship, good governance, and advocacy in Sport and Visual Arts. This Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship student is a dedicated leader who brings change not only in the University but also in his community. Mr. Sapon believes that inspiring young people to engage in different activities can transform the youth and the entire community towards creating a more progressive and inclusive society that provides opportunities for everyone.

Alongside his duties as a student, he made sure to continuously serve the community. He served as President of Central Student Council of PUP Bataan, Founding Chairman of Young Entrepreneur Club of PUP Bataan, Athletic Coach of PUP Bataan Athletic Association, Founding Chairman/President of Mariveles United Football Club, Grassroot Physical Fitness Instructor of Bataan Football Club, Actor/Active Member of CineMalikhain Productions, and Visual Artist of Imaginative Minds and Artistic Hands Empowering Nation in Mariveles, Bataan. 

Mr. Sapon will formally receive the award on March 31, 2021, at the Grand Ballroom, Okada Manila, Paranaque. 

Asa Pacific Luminare Awards recognizes individuals all over the world who contribute to the wellness and welfare of society.
