The Polytechnic University of the Philippines retained its ISO certification for four consecutive years since its first certification in 2018 after SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. awarded the University with its ISO 9001:2015 Certification anew.
ISO 9001: 2015 is one of the most recognized standards to assure products and service quality. It is awarded to organizations that showcase the ability to meet customer requirements and regulatory obligations through the development of consistent services.
The team of auditors led by Mr. Melvin Grueso surveyed the University’s implementation of its quality management system during a two-week virtual surveillance audit in November 2021.
This year’s ISO certification is special for the University as all its branches and satellite campuses’ processes were also part of the audit. Among the processes that underwent scrutiny were admission processes, accounting and finance-related services, records management, communication management and coordination, research and extension work, human resource management, and property management.
In his message, PUP President Dr. Manuel M. Muhi expressed his gratitude to all employees, staff, and faculty members who took part in the preparation for recertification. “Maraming salamat sa inyong cooperation at muli pong nakuha natin and ISO 9001:2015.
