The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and the Lyceum of the Philippines University –Batangas (LPU) recently signed two Memoranda of Understanding in the areas of research and academics held at the Graduate School Conference Room of LPU-Batangas.
Present during the ceremony are LPU officials headed by Vice President from Academics and Research, Dr. Cecilia C. Pring, along with Research Director Dr. Jake M. Laguador and College of Business Administration (CBA) Dean Dr. Rey Fernan G. Fefozar. The PUP contingent is headed by Research Management Director Dr. Jackie D. Urrutia and Associate Dean of the College of Business Administration (CBA) Dr. Guillermo Bungato.
The MOU is a five-year engagement comprised of the following: joint research undertakings; exchange programs for faculty and students on instructional research and cultural purposes; co-sponsorship of international conference and academic exchanges in areas of joint interest, exchange of educational materials, publications, and instructional information; and possibility of offering dual or joint-degree programs.
