After a thorough review process of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP), Assistant Professor Jeffrey R. Ancheta is now one of the newest members of the NRCP Social Sciences Division.
The NRCP is an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and is composed of scientists, researchers, technologists, and engineers whose core mission is to generate knowledge through research across all fields of science, humanities, and social sciences.
Members of the NRCP are entitled to privileges such as funding for research projects, conferences, and research trainings. They also have exclusive access to a wide network of researches in which they can engage as collaborators.
Prof. Ancheta is an active researcher in the field of communication and have published works in local and international refereed journals. He has been a research fellow at the Philippine-California Advanced Research Institutes, a fellowship which he got through the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in 2017.
Ancheta is a regular faculty member of the College of Communication (COC) Department of Communication Research. He also serves as a research coordinator for COC under the university’s Research Management Office.
