The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Alumni Relations and Career Development Office (ARCDO) launched its first Alumni Hour on October 21, 2026, at the ARCDO Conference Room, with PUP Laboratory High School (PUPLHS) Batch 1981 alumnus and optometrist, Dr. Gilbert Opina Ardivilla, providing free eye check-ups to selected students, faculty members, and employees.
The activity, titled “Beautiful Eyes, Beautiful You,” benefited 20 selected PUPLHS students and faculty members and 30 PUP employees.
Alumni Hour is an initiative of ARCDO which gives PUP graduates an opportunity to share their professional expertise and offer free services to the University community. The activity is also part of the month-long celebration of PUP’s 122nd Founding Anniversary.
