Miss Rexlyn Anne Evora, a third year College of Law student, was hailed as one of the recipients of scholarship sponsored by Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity (FLP) and Tan Yan Kee Foundation.
Recipients are chosen based on the essays that they submitted to the foundation.
Other recipients came from Ateneo de Manila University, Far Eastern University-Makati, University of Santo Tomas, University of the Philippines, San Beda College-Manila, San Beda College-Alabang and University of San Carlos.
The FLP Scholarship Program is open to incoming junior law students from law schools that surpassed the national passing rate of the 2014 bar exams based on the statistical data from the Supreme Court Office of the Bar Confidant.
The Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity (FLP) aims to perpetuate the core judicial philosophy of Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban (Ret.) that jurists and lawyers should not only safeguard the liberty of our people but must also nurture their prosperity under the rule of law.
The awarding ceremony was held on December 1, 2016 at the University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City Campus in Taguig.
