Center for Environmental Studies

The Center for Environmental Studies (CES) under the Institute for Social Sciences and Development is the lead unit that undertakes research and studies on the integrity of the environment, environmental justice, ecological protection and climate change mitigation and adaptation.  One of its mandates is to raise people’s awareness and consciousness on global warming, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and ecological protection for sustainable development.

The Center raises people’s awareness and consciousness on ecological protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation through conferences, symposia, forum, lectures and other venues for dialogue and consultation.
