The Philippine Documentary Heritage Archival Collection on the COVID-19 Pandemic or PHDH is a non-profit initiative that aims to set up a digital repository of creative works and experiences of Philippine artists and cultural workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Through your invaluable contributions to the digital repository, we hope to piece together the extent and ways the pandemic impacted the creative sector.
The PHDH was initiated by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts - National Committee on Archives (NCCA-NCA), with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) as the proponent. Our aim is to make the PHDH digital repository publicly accessible as references for artists, researchers, programmers, and policymakers, among others. With your help, we will be able to collectively surface the most immediate and pressing challenges imposed by the COVID-19 crisis.
Your chosen type of contribution to the digital repository will ensure that your experience will be represented in discussions about your industry and the larger context of the arts and culture sector during the pandemic. The project highlights the value of documentary heritage, especially during a time of crisis.
In its final form, the PHDH digital repository offers resources that aim to stimulate informed discussions and provide material basis for calls for support and crafting of resolutions—-all with a vision of contributing to the improvement of conditions for artists and cultural workers.
PHDH is a multi-year project following three (3) phases:

What are we looking for?
The Philippine Documentary Heritage Archival Collection on the COVID-19 Pandemic (PHDH) is made accessible for education and research. PHDH has provided attributions to rights holders based on the processing of contributed creative works and/or documentation of activities and experiences.
If you hold the rights to the records or materials in the digital repository and find the attribution to be inaccurate or incorrect, please let us know so that we may maintain the integrity of the PHDH and protect the rights of the owner of creative works or rights holder.
If you are a rights holder and are concerned that you have found any record or material in the digital repository which you have not granted permission for inclusion, you may request for its removal by sending an email notice, with the elements described below, to phdh@pup.edu.ph.
Please include the following in your e-mail notice:
Upon receiving a notice that includes the details listed above, we will temporarily remove the record/material allegedly infringing your right from public view while we assess the issues you have identified. PHDH will send periodic updates regarding your request.
