The College of Education Integrated Extension Program is called Eduk-Aksyon. It symbolizes the proactive and dynamic approach of the College of Education towards extending its expertise beyond the confines of traditional academia.
It embodies a commitment to action-oriented initiatives that aims to uplift the communities through education. Whether through training programs, technical advisory, or outreach activities, Eduk-Aksyon serves as a beacon of empowerment, fostering positive change, progress, and impact.
By harnessing the expertise and resources within the college, Eduk-Aksyon strives to address societal needs, promote lifelong learning, and cultivate a culture of excellence in education that transcends boundaries.
Eduk-Aksyon is composed of the following numerous community-driven extension projects:
Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program is one of the programs of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with the PUP College of Education. This creates a learning ecosystem wherein college students will be capacitated and deployed as tutors (learning facilitators) and Youth Development Workers. As the college students immerse themselves, the faculty members serve as coordinators who monitor and supervise the deployment of the students.
