Entrance Scholarship Program

The Entrance Scholarship is given to upcoming Freshman students with exemplary achievements in Senior High School.

The slot depends on the trend of enrollment.

Eligibility:

1. Graduate of Senior High School with at least 100 graduates

2. With Certification as:

a. With High Honors or with Highest Honors

b. Student Athlete

c. Cultural Artist

d. Campus Journalist

e. Creative Media Artist

 

Requirements:

During interview

1. Portfolio of achievements (for cultural artists, student athletes, creative media artists and campus journalists only)

 

2. Certification of Honors Received (for Academic Awardee)

 

3. 1 Photocopy of Commencement Exercises Program with List of at least 100 Graduates

 

When Qualified

1. Entrance Scholarship Agreement Form

2. 2”x2” picture, white background and with name tag

3. Photocopy of parent ID

4. Photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority

5. Certificate of Good Moral Character

Resident Scholarship (President’s Lister and Dean’s Lister)

This is a recognition given to students’ exemplary academic performance every semester.

Eligibility:

President’s Lister

1. Regular status; enrolled in the subject specified in the semester of the curriculum

2. GWA is 1.00 to 1.50

3. No grade lower than 2.50 in any subject

 

Dean’s Lister

1. Regular status; enrolled in the subject specified in the semester of the curriculum

2. GWA is 1.501 to 1.75

3. No grade lower than 2.50 in any subject

 

Effective SY 2020-2021, the list of PL and DL is automatically generated by the ICTO upon the request of SFAS. Students do not need to apply. They will be automatically recognized.

The top 10% of PL will receive P1,000.00 cash incentive and certification. The remaining students will only receive certification.

Special Grant (Government Scholarship)

The Government Scholarship program that is being implemented under SFAS is the Tertiary Education Subsidy or TES.

Eligibility:

Ongoing Grantees

The masterlist of ongoing grantees is being endorsed by UniFAST to PUP.

Applicants

1. Listed under Listahanan 2.0, 4P’s, ESGPPA

2. If not, from financially challenged family with at least P300,00.00 annual family income.

3. Enrolled in the CHED Recognized program

 

The TES has a Portal for each PUP Campus. It has a unique password and only the TES Focal Person can access it. When UniFAST post announcement on uploading of applications to the Portal, SFAS provides a link where students can register then the SFAS Chief will upload the applications using the password.

SFAS will provide link for the google form where students can register their application.

Special Grant (Private Scholarship)

SFAS facilitate the scholarship program with private grantors by implementing the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement. The provisions are unique per grantor.

Eligibility:

Ongoing Grantees

There are MOAs that are perpetual and grantors support their scholars until they graduate as long as they meet the retention policy stipulated in the MOA.

Applicants

MOAs that are being renewed annually have different eligibility requirements in terms of grades, course, year level, family income, and other requirements set by the grantor.

Common Requirements to be submitted:

1. Copy of Grades

2. Certificate of Registration

3. Proof of Family Income

4. Personal Data Sheet

 

SFAS will provide link for the google form specific for the scholarship program of the grantor where students can register their application.

The date of application depends on the date of signing of MOA and instruction from the grantor.

Student Assistantship Program

Student Assistantship is a term of employment applied by students for not more than 100 hours a month at a compensation rate of Php25.00/ hour.  The term of employment is subject to renewal every semester.

Eligibility:

1. Regular Status

2. At least 1 year residency

3. No INC, W or Failed (5.0) during the last semester enrolled

Walk-in Applicant

1. Submit the copy of the following documents:

a. Grades during the last semester enrolled

b. Current Certificate of Registration

c. Fill-out Personal Data Sheet

2. Wait for the schedule of interview of the head of the assigned office. If approved, the head of the office will submit accomplished endorsement form.

3. Take the Psychological Exam. The applicant will be notified when the result is available, then he/can she start the service.

Pre-selected/Endorsed by Office Head

1. Submit the following documents:

a. Duly Accomplished Student Assistantship Endorsement Form

b. Copy of Grades during the last semester enrolled

c. Current Certificate of Registration

d. Fill-out Personal Data Sheet

2. Take the Psychological Exam. The applicant will be notified when the result is available, then he/can she start the service.

UCCA Artists Financial Assistance Program

UCCA Artists Financial Assistance is applied through the endorsement of the Director of the University Center for Culture and the Arts. Endorsed students represent the university culture and arts presentations.

Eligibility:

1. Regular Status

2. No INC, W or Failed(5.0) during the last semester enrolled

3. Member of any UCCA groups

The UCCA Director endorse the UCCA artists who shall receive the allowance. The endorsement is semestral.

The SFAS will check the qualification of endorsed artists through SIS.

Within the semester

The program is PUP Funded. PUP provides an allowance for maximum of 50 artists. Each artist  receives P2,500.00 per semester.

SFAS is looking for sponsors who will support the allowance of other artists who are not endorsed.
