Sintang Paaralan is committed to revitalizing global cooperation through strengthened partnerships that mobilize financial resources, share knowledge and technology, enhance trade equity, and build capacity—ensuring that no country is left behind in achieving the shared vision of sustainable development. We are actively involved in various international, national, regional, and local endeavors towards policy development aimed at strategic and futures thinking, as well as adaptive management of resources. We also regularly engage in dialogues and discourses to learn and share the best practices of the university to different organizations and communities.
PUP is actively involved in various government or regional non-government organizations relative to SDG policy development. We help in various areas such as identifying problems and challenges, developing policies and strategies, modelling likely futures with and without interventions, monitoring and reporting on interventions, and/or enabling adaptive management.
We are part of different dialogue groups or platforms and conferences that tackle SDGs and even measure data related to it. Examples of our support work include Children's Media Research; with ICMASS to discuss critical issues such as climate change and socioeconomic inequalities; with 350 Pilipinas for PUP's effort towards sustainability; and others.
Meanwhile, we also work with partners such as ECOVIP for Eco-Tourism project; a Dialogue with E-Net Philippines to gather data about inclusivity, transformative education for IPs and PWDs.
In terms of collaboration and research, review of comparative approaches and development of international best practices to tackle the SDGs, we have conducted the International Multidisciplinary Research-based Extension Conference and established a partnership with Renergy System, Inc., to launch campus efforts on Waste Cooking Oil Management.
We are also collaborating with different non-government organizations to tackle the SDGs.
